Pedigree Search can be used to research the effectiveness of ancestors individually or in combination with others going back 5 generations.
A pedigree is divided up into two halves (shown as H1 and H2). H1 represents all ancestors from the sire side of the pedigree. H2 represents all ancestors from the dam’s side of the pedigree. Furthermore, each pedigree is then divided into quartiles (shown as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4).
You can search using any combination of halves or quartiles to look for stake winners that have the searched ancestors within their pedigree, and obtain accurate statistics since 2011.
