What is inbreeding?
Is when there are duplicate horses within four
generations of a pedigree.
Light blue areas indicate male inbreeding occurring in the same half of a pedigree.
Dark blue areas indicate male inbreeding occurring in different halves of a pedigree.
Light pink indicates female inbreeding within the same half of a pedigree.
Dark pink indicates female inbreeding within difference halves of a pedigree.
Visually identify the success of key pedigree influences (i.e. Sire) at specific distances.
The dark green areas indicate those sections of the pedigree which match exactly.
The light green areas indicate ancestors found in the same half of the pedigree but in a different position.

What is ‘Sponsored Stallions’?
Analyse test mating’s of any mare in the G1 Goldmine database with active stallions standing at any of the G1 Goldmine sponsored stud farms. These stud farms have provided us with the details of their currently active stallions in an effort to allow you to find the best possible mating for your mare.
What is ‘Any Stallion’?
This feature allows you to analyse test mating’s of any mare in the G1 Goldmine database with any stallion in the G1 Goldmine database.
A Perfect Match occurs when there are 2 or more GSWs with common ancestors in every quartile of the pedigree of your mating. Of all 20/20 Matches, only 1 in 25 are a Perfect Match.
A 20/20 match occurs when a pattern has two or more Graded Stakes Winners with CSI values above 20. This indicates that this mating is excellent as there are at least two superior horses with a very similar pattern
